Without doubt, to be rich is good but  the best is the ability you have to exercise patience, contentedness and value the little you have at hand before the wealth comes.
And that is the quote that best describe the life story of the General Manager, Corporate Communications Department of African Richest Man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s Group of companies, Oluwagbenga Sunday Esan and his wife, Omowunmi Esan, who is the Managing Director Okiki Films and Music Productions.
A few days ago, Iya Okiki as she is fondly called celebrated her birthday and her husband posted these photos, compared his days of trial and his present days. He also posted the below statement to wish his queen  happy birthday, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVE!
I blessed the day I married you my darling. I thank God for giving you to me. I thank your parents, your brothers, sisters, uncles and relatives for breeding you into a virtuous woman. I glorify the Almighty for overlooking my iniquities and blessed me with a near-perfect friend as a wife.
When I cry as I often do, Altine, U wipe my tears. When I feel disturbed and become scared of the future, you smile and re-assure me with the words in the Bible. You pray ceaselessly, you fast when you are not asked to, you dedicate your life to God, me and your children…I thank you my darling. I thank you for being the woman behind the scene in sustaining the Brand OKIKI
In you I have found love, I have found peace, I have found an irreplaceable friend and darling…
On behalf of all our children, I celebrate you our Mummy and wish you the best of years to come…”, he wrote.
Some of these photos were taken in the early 1990s when Sunday was matriculating at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and his then girlfriend Omowunmi was in her 300 level at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
If you know the story of Esan, then you understand better the picture Yorubamoviegist.com is reporting for you at the moment. The Lagos big boy was born with a silver spoon but eventually lost it when he was much younger. Together with his mum, they were pushed away from their home and also neglected by his father’s family.
Esan and his mum delved into cold water and soft drinks business. During these trying period, Esan met Omowunmi in his secondary school and the girl stood behind him, dividing the money given to her for school fees and her well-being into two to support Sunday Esan who is now the General Manager, Corporate Communications Department of African Richest Man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote’s Group of companies, and also the Chairman, Okiki Films and Music  Productions.
This, stands as a big lesson for young ladies in Nigeria to learn from because hardly you find such qualities in today’s women. Though, some of them are still keeping good prilofiles but 99% of Nigerian ladies are too fake and materialistic.
