But one thing many don’t know about this easy going dude is his past. The Omu-Aran, Kwara State-born movie boss, Yorubamoviegist.com gathered had a rough beginning before God opened the door for him in acting.
Okiki, we scooped hails from a very poor background. They were 7 in number including his mum and dad, but later on, he lost the bread winner of the family, who was his dad.
Himself and his siblings source revealed to us that, they struggled to complete their secondary school education. Thereafter, they all delved into learning different vocations when his mother, who was selling “Adalu” (mixed Beans and Corn) at Ladipo Oshodi, Lagos couldn’t afford to further invest in their education.
Some went into carpentry, hair dressing and auto mechanic. The now number 1 Yoruba movie director took into cow butchering business.
Yorubamoviegist’s source claimed that Okiki
started selling meat at the popular Miami Market in Oshodi Lagos since his days in JSS 2 till he got to SS2.
Subsequently, a friend introduced him into acting, and the rest has now become history.
