The Rising Profile of Fast Rising Nigerian Singer, Mose Akpan

Moses Dan Akpan was born into the family of Dan Akpan Ukpai many years ago. Third male child and number five among the family of ten children. He hailed from the Ini Local Government Area, the south-south geographical area of Akwa Ibom State. He had his primary and secondary school education from Government Primary School, Ogu – Itu Mbonso and Ogu Community Secondary Commercial School respectively. He later got admitted into the National Open University of Nigeria, Agidingbi Lagos campus to pursue a Bsc. degree in Entrepreneur/Business Management in 2013 and currently tending towards his final year.
For him, he started singing at a tender age. His love for music simply grew having seen his parents all the years displayed super singing acts, who were known all over at that time for their unique singing talents.
He started singing out in the church, at the Seventh day Adventist as an assistant Choirmaster in his hometown and as well spearheaded two accapela singing group called D Mellodiance and Comforter Singers respectively. Working with these music groups has really accorded him a great opportunity to harness and showcases his singing acts in a weekly safari program on galaxy TV. Also, he had a great privilege of performing in awesome events like weddings, Anniversaries and the hallmark newspaper award ceremony which was well attended by the de creme la de creme of the society such as outgone senate president David Mark and formal Lagos state deputy governor to Bola Tinubu.
He professionally plunged into the music industry in 1999 with the release of a featured song titled “Sexy Girl” by G.P and ever since, he has been pushing it real strong to break into the spotlight. Singing has really been identified as one key part of him that has grown immensely over time.
Moses later coined a strategy to get this dream fulfilled by creating a stage name for himself which he called LB Canny literarily means Living {L} to bestow {B} canny {clever}. Having not rest on his oars, he released his debut single titled “Do Me” afterwards on the platform of music modana entertainment which is currently gaining air play on the major radio stations in Nigeria and the talk of the social medias with more likes by the day.
