In the Yoruba movie industry, Soji Taiwo popularly known Soji Omobanke is a household name. He is an adept actor, who could deliver on different and very challenging roles. He is at his best when he is on set to play the character of a tout.
But one thing people don’t really know about the talented actor, is the that he was born by a musician known as Yomi Taiwo, who was once a backup singer for Juju Music maestro, Chief Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi.
According to those in the known, Yomi worked with Chief Commander for years and he was one of his favourites until later in the 80s when he left to start his own band. This is the job he did for long before he gave up the ghost.
