Pop Star,Davido Signs Veteran Actress,Toyin Adewale’s Son To HKN Gang

That controversial Nigerian pop star, Davido has signed a new act unto his record label is no longer news as OBO unveiled Mayokun unto his HKN Gang on March 3rd 2016. The latest about it now is that not everyone is aware that the newly signed Mayokun is the son of veteran Yoruba Actress, Toyin Adewale. He is the first child of Sunday and Toyin Adewale who are both trading in the Yoruba movie industry.
Davido, unveiled the new act at an interactive session
with the media, and he disclosed that Mayokun, an
Afro pop singer is the next best thing in Nigeria.
Mayokun Adewale, who is a graduate of the University of
Lagos, expressed his excitement over the signing and
disclosed that he initially thought it was a scam when
Davido sent him a message.
Mayokun was signed off of the back of an Instagram
performance, which caught Davido’s attention, and led him
down this path. He has also expressed his gratitude, and
said Davido’s signing is a dream come true.
“It is a dream come true and I feel so excited being signed unto
the label,” Mayor Kun told NET.
”I have always hoped to get this sort of chance and Davido
coming my way is something that is indescribable .’’
