It was, indeed, an evening of fun in Ikeja, Lagos precisely at Time Square Events Center, Ajao Road, Off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja on Sunday, February 11th, 2018 when fast-rising Yoruba actress, Kemi Lawal, premiered her much expected movie, Amonisheni.
The event kicked off when the official MCs of the day, Oluwole Cole and Lado Onidodo, mounted the stage at exactly 5pm to commence the event. It was shortly after the red carpet session came to an end. At that point, guests were trooping in to be part of the memorable event. Subsequently, top Lagos Islamic clerics, Sheik Omokunmi and Sheik Oloyede, were invited on stage to coordinate the opening prayers, which lasted for more than 30 minutes.
Thereafter, several hip-hop musicians were given chances to perform. They include is Sheik Entertainment, Uch B, K-H1, and top Islamic musician, Alhaja Ruqayat Gawat before Sule Alao Malaika was invited on stage for his first performance. Shortly after that, the launching proper took place and guests did their best to support the movie and the producer.
Malaika later returned on the stage and serenaded guests till late in the night. Sumptuous meals were served by Bizmak Service owned by star actress, Bisola Badmus. The guests at the event include Alhaji Akanni Lawal, Kazeem Ojora, 220, Iya 120, Nosiru Alausa,Monsura Apinke, Saheed Adebayo, Barry White, Bush Ajah, a popular Lagos Developer and many others.
