Star actor, Austine Emmanuel has hinted that he would have been a Football star by now but acting took him away.
The Ogoja , Cross Rivers State-born, Austine was a Footballer and he operated from the midfield. Report says he made efforts to play at the top clubs in Europe but he was unlucky to join one.
He forcefully ignored his interest in Football to join Yoruba Movie Industry about 17 years ago.
According to him, “I have always have passion for acting since I was 10 years old but I joined the industry 17 years ago, after I was introduced to my late boss,Jelili Erupo. He later moved me to late Ajigijaga. I was with Ajigijaga for 2 years, where i got enough experience to stand alone as a filmmaker. I am not into any other business away from acting. I was a Footballer and I stopped playing professional Football in 2000 due to challenges. There was nobody to sponsor my movement”, Emmanuel revealed.
