The news reaching us from Oyo State has claimed that a renowned Yoruba movie actor, producer cum director Jelili Adebayo popularly known as Adebayo Picollo, who is a cousin to Alafin of Oyo town, His Royal Highness, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has involved in a serious auto accident.
According to our sources, Adebayo Picollo had the accident along Oyo to Ibadan Express road when he was returning from a movie set.
He was said to be coming back from Oyo town to join another movie location in Lagos State on Monday 4th March 2020 before his Toyota Sienna car tumbled five times before a tree around the bush stopped the vehicle.
The car is damaged beyond repair. Adebayo Picollo was inside the damaged car in the bush, waiting for people to rescue him which he could not get on time. Hours after, some good Samaritans came to his rescue.
He was hastily rushed to Oyo general hospital, Oyo State where he was receiving treatment. Jelili Adebayo Picollo sustained a serious injury on his right hand, while his neck, legs and other parts of his body got wounded. He was discharged from the hospital on Thursday.
