Not many know that the first Head of Service/Secretary to the State Government of old Ondo State, Theophilus Iwajomo, CON has a son Babatunde who is a gospel singer. Babatunde, a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and an old boy of King’s College Lagos, plays big in the Nigerian gas industry. Today, 14th April 2020, he dropped his debut album titled ‘The First’.
On the release of this debut album, Babatunde Iwajomo said, ” First, I give thanks to God for giving me the grace and inspiration. I have no formal background or experience in music but as I spend time praying, I get inspired to write and sing. I dedicate this album to my dad, High Chief Theophilus A. Iwajomo, CON who passed away exactly 20 years ago on this 14th day of April 2000. He was a lover of music and would sing his favorite Christian hymns, regularly.”
