The Nollywood industry has once again been visited by death and took away a very important man in the society.
It is the death of the Baale of Abijo in Lekki, Lagos, Chief Alhaji Hakeeb Alarape Adams who is the father of a renowned Nigerian actor, Arinola Adams.
Baale Alarape we learnt joined his ancestors earlier today after a brief illness at the age of 82.
Until his death, he was the Baale of Abijo land in Lekki, Lagos State and the chief Imam of Langbasa in Eti-Osa, Lagos.
The High Chief was survived by wives, children, great-grandchildren and a wonderful Muslim who lived his life serving his people.
Details about his burial rites will be announced soon.
