Fast rising Yoruba Actress, Temitope Ojikutu has revealed some crucial reasons that women all around the world needs to respect and appreciate men always.
The Lagos State-born screen diva, who is also a civil servant,explained this in an exclusive interview she had with www.yorubamoviegist.com publisher, Gbolahan Adetayo today.
When she was asked about the way women treats men especially in the western world,the mother of two concluded that women are not really trying in times of giving their husbands what they deserves.
According to her,” well, I am the type that I don’t like involving myself in this kind of conversation but as a single mother of two, I think men deserves to be honoured and appreciated at all times. Alot of people might not understand my point but any single mother, who is genuinely catering for her child or children will always appreciate a real man If she sees one. My first marriage was blessed with two kids whom I have solely be nurturing and provides their needs without any support from anywhere. It is not in anyway easy though but I thank God that I am able to do so. There are lot of women in my shoes who can’t do that. I solely pay my house rent, provides food on the table, give the kids what they want and all that, assuming I am under a man he will be the one to provide the needs including mine. Honestly, men are really trying. I mean the responble ones among them not some who depends on their wives. If you are a young lady who just got married, I will advise you to always appreciate your man because it is not easy to be a single mother. Try your best to be submissive at all times, nothing is outside to enjoy apart from men who will lie to you and dump you after using you.
Bad girl they say can’t make a good mother. No matter how much you try to advise them, they will still do that which is on their minds. Women, have you really ask yourself exactly what you are doing for your men you think it is special? You wash his clothes, clean his house and all that and you think you have done a great job, don’t be decieved, if you opted out of the marriage to be a single mother, won’t you bath your kids? Wash their clothes and cook for them? Some ladies have good luck with better husbands but their characters will chase them away. There is no how you will be insulting your man and you think such fellow will love you. If you don’t take good care of him and respect him, there are sweet 16 out there who will help you out, by then it is only God that will make him come back to you. I am repeating it, men are really trying. If you want to know what I am talking about, by 4am, try to drive through Third Mainland Bridge, you will see the kind of traffic you meet there as a result of people who are trying to get to work on time. 99% of them are men. Those who live at Ikorodu area and others, some of them get home by 12am and go to work by 4am, this simply means he has just 4 hours to sleep. if you underappreciate the man, his creator will not be happy with you. May God help us all. Though, men also have their shortcomings but yet they still deserve appreciation”, she said.
