Barely 3 years after she left the Yoruba movie industry to join the Asaba movie makers in Nollywood, star actress, Funke Akindele, who was in the news recently to have allegedly married JJC, a music star in secret has once again been caught in the act.
After dumped Yoruba movie scene, the Ikorodu, Lagos State-Nigeria-born thespian was spotted at the location of a movie called Eliza, written and produced by Oluwatoyin Bankole, daughter of late socialite, Adunni Bankole. Funke was said to have collected #400,000 to feature in the flick which was released not long ago.
Since then, she also had gone off the Yoruba movie scene where she was made. The new gist at Yorubamoviegist.com disposal right now is that, the Jenifa movie’s star is back in the Yoruba movie industry as she took part in a movie titled “Ojo Eyemi” literarily means My Joyous Day, written and produced by Jide Sodiq, directed by Abbey Lanre while Afeezco Films International Limited marketed it.
The flick featured Funke Akindele, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, Bimbo Thomas, Kike Adeyemi, Sunny Ali, Toyin Adewale and many others.
