Under the leadership of Prince Dele Odule, the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPPAN) is set to hold its national convention/retreat which is the first of its kind in the industry.
TAMPPAN came on board 2 years ago as a new association after the leaders parted ways with ANTP, which made Odule the first pioneer president.
The first ever convention, Yorubamoviegist.com gathered, will hold in Ilorin, Kwara State between 13th -15th October 2016 to be precise and it’s going to be hosted by the state government led by governor Abdulfatai Hammed.
The 3 days retreat will start with accreditation on the first day at the Cultural Center, Ilorin while the second day, the event will be declared opened by the governor of the state at the Banquet Hall, opposite Gov House Ilorin (Kwara State).
The key note addressed, YMG.com further learnt will be delivered by the honourable minister of Information, Culture & Tourism, Alhaji Lai Muhammed.
The event will witness seminar, workshop and others.
