Princess Linda Adedeji is one of the happening babes in the Yoruba movie industry. She is the wife of Prince Kehinde Aderemi. For her, she joined the industry in 2003 and she has since been giving the best in her. Linda hails from Ado Ekiti in Ekiti state. The actress, cum movie maker is a graduate of the Lagos State University. Recently, she exclusively spoke with Yorubamoviegist.com about her career and other interesting issues you need to know about her among others. Excerpts:
How and when did you join acting?
I joined entertainment industry in 2003, but I wasn’t stable, because I was still into modeling not until 2012 that I came in fully.
Who brought you in?
ToyinAdegbola (Ajoke Asewo to re mecca ) and Modupe Johnson (Fali Werepe).
What prompted the idea of going into it?
Have always love acting right from my childhood, I started writing scripts for stage play when
I was in primary 4, and I participated in all my primary and secondary school’s stage plays and cultural events. So, acting has been in my blood and it has always been my dream.
What were you doing before acting?
I was a model before I started acting. Let me say I was self-employed.
why did you dump the job for acting?
I didn’t dump modeling for acting, not at all. I was doing the two together but I concentrated more on modeling when I started acting because no money at all for upcoming in acting then, so my survival money came from modeling.
What did you study in school?
I studied Industrial Relation and Personnel Management (IRPM) at Lagos State University.
How has the journey been since you delved into it?
It is fun, great, challenging but in all, I give God all the glory, honour and adoration.
What are the challenges you faced?
Combining my acting job with my home are not an easy task for me at all. Sometimes I will be at home with my family, we would have planned how to spend the weekend together and they will just call me to start coming to location at Ibadan or Akure to spend some days. And as an upcoming actress, I will want to go because if I didn’t, the producer might not want to call me for a job again. So, I have to go, it wasn’t easy at all at first, but now God is in control.
How were you able to come out of it?
I think is the grace of God and understanding between my husband and myself.

Which actor do you love working with?
Seriously I love working with Muyiwa Ademola Authentic, Afeez Owoh, and Funsho Adeolu.

They always encourage me on movie set.
How supportive is your husband on your career?
I am married to Prince Kehinde Aderemi and his 100percent in support of my career.
What should your fans be expecting from you soon?
My new movie titled My Secret (Asiri mi) it was shot in London and Nigeria. Directed by Afeez Abiodun Owoh and Richard Oluyinka. To be marketed by Almaroof Standards Investment Ltd.
