After 10 years of her memorable exit, the family of popular Yoruba actress, Oyinkansola Momoh gathered top players in the Yoruba movie industry to hold 10 years remembrance of Mrs Esther Ashabi Oshunbiyi, who is the grandmother and the foster mother of the actress. Mama was called to glory on the 22nd of March 2006 and she was buried on April 28 2006 at age 95.
She died after a little illness and she was buried at METHODIST cemetery in Ijebu Iperu Remo, Ogun state. The 10th remembrance was held on Tuesday 19th 2017 at the same church she attended before her demise, METHODIST church. Immediately after the church service, guests moved to Agbonmagbe Hall at Ode Remo Road, Iperu for the reception.
And a gospel singer known as Aromolekun electrified the event with his melodious voice. Some of the guests who stormed the event from the Yoruba movie industry, according to those who informed yorubamoviegist.com include Femi Adebayo, Madam saje, Couple Production boss, Epsalum Films boss and others. Speaking at the event, Momoh said,”My sweet grandma, your loving memory will always remain in my heart, and it will be so evergreen. We loved you but God loves you most. Continue to rest in peace”.
