Going by the information reaching Yorubamoviegist.com, these are definitely not the best of times for fast rising Yoruba actress, Ayonimofe Onibiyo, the producer of Tania and Folajomi as men of the other world invaded her wine shop located at 8 Olorunlogbon Street, Anthony Village, Lagos,Nigeria to cart away her goods.According to Eye witnesses, an armed robber who was well dressed to look responsible so as not to be suspected paid a visit to her shop on Monday 11th, April 2016, at exactly 3PM, pretending to be a genuine customer. He allegedly requested for 36 pieces of red wine which the actress quietly placed on the table for package, thinking she has made huge sales for the day. Subsequently, the actress stepped out to take canton to pack the drinks but before she returned, the smart armed robber has stolen her BlackBerry Passport and money. He was said to have pretended to be receiving call and ran away. Ayonimofe quickly checked on her phone where she placed it but when she couldn’t see it, he hastily ran after the robber before the boys around the street ran after him and recovered the phone for her. Star Actress, Mide Funmi Martins’ Marriage To Afeez Owo Crashed Again?
With the look of things, it seems that the marriage between star actor, Abiodun Afeez Owo and Mide Funmi Martins has once again hit the rock if Yorubamoviegist.com’s observation is anything to go by. Based on our observation, we are not sure if the marriage is still intact. 3 days ago, precisely April 12 2016 was Mide’s birthday and there was no sign of congratulatory messages coming to her from her husband on social media throughout the day. However, the following day was her husband, Afeez Abiodun Owo’s birthday and Mide also obstinately ignored him. Rather than celebrating Owo on social media, she was busy celebrating herself with her lovely birthday pictures and wishes she got from people which made many of their fans guess that the marriage is in a bad condition. Recall that in 2013, the marriage was reported to have packed up on an alleged infidelity accusation by Afeez. The actor was always being suspicious of his wife’s movement, and whenever he confronted her, her responses were not pleasing to his ear. He decided he could not handle her ‘infidelity’ anymore and separated from the actress, despite pleas from friends and family. After a while, they both denied it.

“I Won’t Take It Easy Any Time I set My Eyes On Toyin Aimakhu”-Ex-Lover,Seun Egbegbe Opens Up
Ebony films CEO, Seun Egbegbe and estranged lover of actress, Toyin Aimakhu, opens up on their relationship
Why haven’t you considered going into acting since you have become quite popular lately?I have never been tempted to act because I don’t feel like. I prefer to stay behind the scenes because I am very shy and reserved.
What projects are you currently working on?
I produced a lot of movies last year and one of them, Street Boys, will be released this month. I also shot another movie titled Odale in Lagos and Dubai; I flew my cast and crew there. I featured Kunle Afod, Toyin Aimakhu and several other actors. I shot the movie last November. Toyin and I were still lovers at that time. The alleged kidnapping episode happened this year.
Did you really kidnap her?
I do not want to dwell so much on it because I have read the Riot Act to Yoruba film producers. I said none of them must feature her in their films. It is not a threat but a promise because I will take it up with anyone who does otherwise. I am also angry because I was accused wrongly; she told the whole world that I kidnapped her.
What could have prompted her to make up such a story?
I really do not understand what went wrong. The day she claimed I kidnapped her, I went out and left her in my house. Earlier, she had informed me that she would be at a movie location at Oshodi to take part in a movie produced by a Yoruba actress, Kemi Korede. I then asked her to drop the keys to the house with the security guard. Barely two hours later, I started receiving telephone calls from many people who kept asking me if there was a problem. At about the same time ,some people said, “Your rubbish wife posted a video of herself crying on Instagram.” I was confused and I decided to check Instagram. I called her immediately and told her that she had taken the ‘acting’ too far and people would misinterprete the post. I pleaded with her to take down the post as a sign of respect for me, her boyfriend.
What did you do next?
I boarded a cab to meet with her at the movie location. I had to go in a taxi because because my Range Rover SUV was in her possession. Immediately I saw her, I asked her to take down the post. She refused, so I seized her phones and went home. She didn’t return home that day and I did not set my eyes on her again until after three days. Suddenly, it was all over social media that I kidnapped Toyin.
What happened when she returned?
She came home with a man and for six hours he tried to make peace. I returned her phones and she denied ever putting up the post in question. She said her personal assistant must have done it without her consent. I pleaded with her to pull down the post but all she has done till date is give flimsy excuses.
Did the both of you have a disagreement before this incident?
We didn’t quarrel. A few days before the incident, she complained about my attitude towards her and sent me a text to that effect. I responded by telling her that I was only having some personal challenges, which had nothing to do with her.
Why were you really bothered about the Instagram post?
I feel she had an ulterior motive and was simply looking for a way to end the relationship. If she wanted to pull out of the relationship, she could have done so in a mature manner. I don’t think every relationship must lead to marriage. We were just lovers. A few days ago someone posted, “If Toyin returns, are you sure you won’t kidnap her again?” on my Instagram account. I felt so bad because I know nothing about it.
What will you do if you come across each other?
I am not on speaking terms with her any longer and whenever I lay my eyes on her, I won’t take it easy with her.
You say you have known for her 15 years.
Yes, that is true. Toyin is a very good woman and she has been very nice to me. We dated in the past.
Why didn’t you marry her?
Like I said earlier, not every relationship leads to marriage. We parted ways and came back after 15 years. That definitely means that God wants to do something in our lives.
You granted an interview where you reportedly said she has an insatiable sexual appetite. Did you really say that?
I never said such. I already sent her a text to explain that I never said so. I don’t talk that way and she is aware that I could not have said such. She didn’t respond but I am very sure she received the message because her publicist acknowledged it.
Since you claim to really like her, don’t you think asking producers not to feature her in films could affect her career?
I really like her, but how could someone I loved hurt me in this manner?
Do you have the powers to prevent producers from featuring her in movies?
Where were these producers when Toyin acted in a brash manner? Since she exercised her powers, I will exercise mine as well. Perhaps when things go out of hand, they will invite both of us to talk it over.
Were you planning to marry her?
You do not plan to marry an individual. We were taking it one step at a time. Considering what she did to me, I feel the love she had for me was fake.
But you flaunted your romance with her shortly after she separated from her husband.
That is not the issue or point on ground.
Your relationship with her was very controversial.
It is a normal thing. It was expected but we both knew what we wanted from each other as two mature adults.
Has it affected your business?
It hasn’t affected my business; nothing can affect my business or cash flow. There is no day I don’t receive mean messages from her followers and fans. It affects me but I don’t give a hoot.
If she apologises, will you reconcile with her?
The point is that I will never take her back. At best, we can remain as best friends but she must correct that impression. God Almighty will definitely reward Toyin.
Have you ever been married and do you have children?
I have never been married and I don’t have children.
Are you seeing someone else at the moment?
I’m all about my business for now.
Will you date another celebrity after this episode?
Celebrities are also human beings. If I find a God-fearing celebrity whom I love and I can handle, I will definitely date her.
Have you spoken with her ex-husband?
I don’t have any business with Niyi. Whenever we see each other, we are friendly.

After fans attacked her for not celebrating her hubby, the actress decided to pour out her heart out on Instagram.
She wrote, “If you check through the years back, I never for once talked about my husband badly … I always give him praises and appreciate him anywhere and everywhere necessary… Is he God? Is he Angel? Or Is he that perfect?… Ofcourse No!!…. He has hurt me so many times before Infact has broken me countless time before but never for once said anything cruel about him but instead tried to play along with maturity… Because I don’t ever want to tarnish his image, I love my husband and cherish him more than any one can imagine!!
Mide Funmi Martins (Instagram )
People usually judge people by their appearances which shouldn’t be so..we shouldn’t judge people from afar!!.. An innocent looking person might be a devil underneath while an arrogant/ flashy person might just be an angel to the core!!… So many people abused, cursed, judged, criticized and even condemned me for not uploading his picture on his birthday .. How can I celebrate a man that has abandoned me and his kids for over 3 months now without looking back and made it clear he wasn’t ready to get back to me!!…If actually did that who would I be fooling? Myself? Him? Or the Audience?… All that you see on his page.. @officialafeezowo on my birthday uploading my pictures and saying some nice things was just a camouflage!! Deception!!… He wrote there that am his angel.. “Can you leave your angel to starve to death?”….if you check through his page very well he hasn’t uploaded my picture there for a while before this very day of my birthday simply because he left me a long time ago… All he does is fool the world by uploading his children pictures which has been on him phone for long and now pretending to be the best dad in the world. Whereas he hasn’t heard from these children or care about their well being in a long while now… I don’t like really to upload my children on net too much because I believe children are meant to be protected by keeping them well and save inside not exposing them to the world every time like they are some kind of items you wanna sell. That’s why I don’t put them on Net too much except on very important occasion. That doesn’t mean I don’t love them. I adore them!!… Infact they are my life!!!
Now!!… My husband why are trying to destroy me? Why do you wanna kill me? What will be your achievement? Why do you wish destroy my career.. This is the career that gives me money to feed the children that came out from your flesh and blood… Why do I deserve this kind of hatred from you?… Is this what I get for having stayed by your side and supported you for good 13yrs?… Well no problem!!!..All will be well… But I leave everything into God’s hands to judge between you and I … I know he will surely fight my battle for me because ” Oba Elesan ni, Adakedajo, arinurode, Olumoran okan, olugbeja eda”…
Mide Funmi Martins (Instagram)
Now Am crying out unto you from the deepest pain of my heart!!.. “Gbogbo Eyin Abiamo Aye”….Pls save me!! Pls save this poor innocent woman who’s done nothing wrong but has always worked extra hard just to support and keep her family together … Pls I beg you all in the of God to save me from this. Trauma that am experiencing now… May God be with everyone… Thank You!!!”

5 Lessons Young Ladies Need To Learn From Mide Martins’ Crashed Marriage To Afeez Owo
That star actress, Mide Funmi Martins’ 12 Year old marriage to popular actor, producer cum director, Afeez Abiodun Owo has crashed is no longer something to celebrate as the actress took to her instagram account to confirm the shameful event, where she claimed that Afeez left her and his 2 kids, 2 extended family members and their maid in the house and walked out of the union. By and large, there are a lot of lessons young lovers, especially the ladies need to learn from Mide’ crumbled marriage before they walk down the aisle,as it’s written by Yorubamoviegist.com.
1.DON’T ENCOURAGE EARLY MARRIAGE
of course, there is nothing bad if a lady gets married at a tender age of her life but it’s dangerous. Mide got married at the stage she was meant to experience youthful fun and wild life by hanging out with friends and all that but her early marriage denied her access to that. It pays to do whatever you want to do with men before marriage because by then, you must have garnered a lot of experiences that will make you understand what they called marriage. Mind you, a bad girl can’t make a good mother no matter how much she tries.
(1) BE MINDFUL OF THOSE YOU CHOSE AS FRIENDS
show me your friends and then I will tell you who you are. That is the popular saying that best illustrates this situation in Mide’s marriage. At a point, Mide, we learnt lived her life in a proper way as a responsible wife she is expected to live but all these became history when she started rolling with some certain sets of colleagues in the industry, forgetting that a sheep that hangs out with dogs will eventually eat faeces, according to an African proverb.
(3)SETTLE DOWN WITH A MAN OF YOUR CHOICE
it is no longer news that ladies of today marry not because of love but 99% of them marry because of the man’s wealth. But Mide’s case is totally different from that. I will like to state that her union started having crisis since marrying a man who is not as beautiful as she is. Who knows if she had asked herself this questions”why do I want to marry Afeez Owo? Can I cope with him?Can I actually be proud of him in the public? Would men not take advantage of that to crash our marriage? Etc., maybe they will still be together by now.
(4)CONTENTMENT
No matter the situation you find yourself, be contented because you can’t know more than your creator. Your destiny is obviously not the same with that of your best friend.
(5)NEVER CHEAT ON YOUR PARTNER
one of the elements that makes a relationship work is staying true to your partner. Let him be able to confide in you. Above all, stay off infidelity.
3 Months After Suspension, Adekaz, Hibee Pictures Bosses Return To Business….To Pay #200,000 Each As penalties
The association of Yoruba movie marketers in Arena Oshodi, Lagos Nigeria has called off the long time suspension which renowned Yoruba movie marketer, Kazim Adeoti, CEO Adekaz Movie Productions and his kid brother, Ibrahim Adeoti, the boss of Hibee Pictures were slammed with since January 2016.
Yorubamoviegist.com broke the news that the 2 brothers were suspended from selling Yoruba movies due to the fact that they worked against the rules and regulations of the association.
Adekaz and Hibee Pictures were banned by the Yoruba Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association (YOVIFPMAN) from selling movies.
For about 2 to 3 times that movies were released, Adekaz and Hibee were excluded among the authorised marketers who marketed and distributed movies. Then, Yorubamoviegist.com went on a thorough investigation then which revealed that the 2 brothers were sacked from performing their duty for some months as punishment for going against the rules of the association which stated that no marketer should give DSTV his/her latest movies which Adekaz and Hibee allegedly did. Adekaz, we learnt started the punishment on his birthday which took place in January.
The latest about the news now is that the association has unbanned them and they have been granted the opportunity to continue their activities from where it stopped. Yorubamoviegist.com scooped that they were both served a bill of #200,000 each as penalties after several pleadings.

Blow By Blow Account Of How Yoruba Movie Stars, Obesere, Ajobiewe, Others Dazzle Guests @ Odunifa Caucus @ 30 In Lagos
Sunday 10th April 2016 will indeed be on the minds of those who were at the Eko Club, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos, as the biggest movie caucus in Nigeria, Odunfa owned by Yinka Quadri, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo, Abbey Lanre, Kakawa and Araosan held its 30th anniversary in grand style. The event was well attended by top socialites, captains of industries, media practitioners, as well as entertainers especially those from the Yoruba movie industry. City People Yoruba Movie Reporter, GBOLAHAN ADETAYO brings you gist from the party. Excerpts:
THE EVENT KICKED OFF WITH AJOBI EWE AND SON
Shortly after the red carpet which lasted for hours, Sulaiman Ayilara Aremu popularly called Ajobiewe, who is widely known as a gifted praise singer mounted the stage to do what he knows how to do best with his son, Jamiu Ayilara. Their performance took a while and it was really thrilling, as the invited guests, fans and the celebrants stormed the stage to spray him.
ALAHAJI ALUFILANI SAID THE OPENING PRAYER
Just immediately after Ajobiewe’s electrifying performance, renowned Islamic cleric, Alhaji Alufilani was called on the podium to say the opening prayer. His appearance on stage was totally unique as he stepped out with his Alfas all dressed in white attires. He prayed after he preached the gospel of allah. He also urged the movie practitioners and other guests at the event to stand up to give thanks to almighty Allah for the life of one of the strong pillars of the caucus, Taiwo Hassan Ogogo who was sick and left the industry for many years before he bounced back.
ODUNFA CAUCUS’ STUDENTS CHURN OUT THEIR PERFORMANCE
To be sincere, that day was really the arts and culture day as series of dramas and cultural activities stole the show. The students of the theater school were invited on stage for their short drama which took about 30 minutes. Their fantastic drama passed a message on love, peace and unity.
JIDE MORONFOLU WAS THE MC
Renowned Yoruba broadcaster, Jide Moronfolu, a versatile presenter on Orisun TV, was the master of the ceremony and he really gave an account of the professionalism in him. With him, there was no dull moment at the event as he was dishing out hilarious statement that kept people laughing, and he was very fluent in his spoken English.
ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE WAS THERE
The Assistant Commissioner of Police Lagos State, Mr Tajudeen Aremu was there with his squad. We learnt that he came to the event to represent his boss.
MATAAN HOTEL BOSS, ABIKE ALAJOGUN STORMED THE EVENT
Ibadan Oyo State socialite cum hotelier, Anike Alajogun who is the CEO of Mataan Hotel, located at Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan came to the event with a couple of her friends who were clad in all white attires. She took her time to catch fun at the event like no other. If you must know, Anike who is a cousin to Elizade Motors’ boss, is the mother of popular UK based actor, Tomiwa Alajogun, and Mr Joseph Alajogun, a top director of customs in Oyo/Osun division.
ODUNFA CAUCUS OLD STUDENTS TOOK OVER THE PODIUM FOR THEIR SPECIAL SONG
As the popular saying goes, the river which forgets its source dries. That is the adage that best illustrate the support and the special song composed by the old student of the caucus. In their special song, they recalled how they all started many years ago and where they are today. This team was led by the likes of Bisi Ibidapo Obe, Fathia Balogun, Toyosi Adesanya and many more.
WHY IYABO OJO WASN’T @ THE PARTY
It was a big surprise to some people at the event as some of the big stars produced by Odunfa caucus were not present at the occasion. Though, some of these people did that for a reason best known to them, but in Iyabo Ojo’s case, what we learnt was that the sexy actress has been out of Nigeria for a while but her impact was felt at the party. We learnt that her Fespris World provided the Ushers and the bouncers who worked endlessly at the event.
….WHERE IS SAIDI BALOGUN AND FUNKE AKINDELE?
That was the question asked by fans and those who know that these 2 great actors are products of Odunfa caucus. At the event, many expected to see these actors but they got disappointed as they were nowhere to be found.
UPCOMING ACTORS GOT SPECIAL TREATMENT
When there is money, all things become easy, and that is exactly what really happened at the back of the banquet used for the event. The upcoming actors, who are the products of the school employed a DJ who performed for them. Just as if they know that much attention will not be given to them inside, they made this arrangement for themselves and to be frank with you, this set of guys stole the show from behind the banquet.
ABOUT YOMI FABIYI’S ABETI AJA’S CAP
No doubt, Yomi Fabiyi is a dynamic and unique actor which is the reflection of his own produced movies. The charismatic Egba born Actor was unique in his all white Agbada and his Abeti Aja’s cap. The cap also had Odunfa @30 written on it.
FATHIA BALOGUN,ALESH ONILEGBALE, BISI IBIDAPO OBE, TOYOSI ADESANYA SHOWED SOME LOVE
Unarguably, they are stars in their industry but this set of actors put all that behind them as they were spotted at the event, not just as guests but to make sure that they are relevant at the event. They were seen attending to guests to proffer solution to their needs.
HONOURABLE LANREWAJU OSHUN CAME
Hon. Moshood Olanrewaju Oshun, a member of Lagos House of Assembly, representing Lagos Mainland Constituency, was at the occasion. The easy going astute politician, who will turn 47 come May 2016, was seen at the event.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD PRESENSENTATIONS
After the launching of the 35 million fund raising for Odunfa Caucus Films and Theatre Institute, special recognition awards were presented to those who deserves it for their immense contributions to the growth of the Yoruba movie industry. Subsequently, the well-decorated 30th birthday cake was cut and the official artistes of the day mounted the stage for his performance.
OBESERE BAND BOYS ON STAGE
As that is the only moment everyone was waiting for, the whole hall shook as guests kept singing some of Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere’s hit songs even before he climbed the stage. The new Alhaji Agba thrilled guests with his energetic performance.

“Why I Fell In Love With Afeez Owo In The First Place”- Estranged Wife, Mide Funmi Martins Speaks
For the past few days, the Yoruba movie industry had been agog with the rumour of the break up of two popular members of the industry, movie actor and producer, Afeez Owo and his wife Mide Martins. Each time the rumour reared its head, the couple tried to douse the rumour. They are not only attending movie premieres together, they step out to most, if not all events. Their last public event was the marriage of comic actor, Sanyeri. A few years back, the rumour made the rounds again when a popular radio station announced their break up on a Yoruba programme. Not only did the presenters say the marriage is no more, it said Mide packed out of her matrimonial home with her 2 daughters. It was after the radio programme that City People spoke to Mide who denied the rumour then. Now, the marriage has packed up. This was what she told us then.
Tell us a bit about who the real Mide is and how your career began?
My name is Mide Funmi-Martins. I am the only daughter of late Funmi Martins, the actress. I am also a wife and a mother. I am the wife of Afeez Owo (Afeez Abiodun). I am an actress. And I have been acting for years. My husband is also an actor and a producer. Our job puts us in public glare so, people talk about us a lot.
What do you make of the current rumours that you and your husband Afeez have parted ways?
I don’t know where they got the story from. It is a lie. A big lie. I don’t know where the idea came from. I don’t know who started the story. I don’t know what they heard or what they saw.
But right now, it is unfortunate that I am the talk of the town.
My husband and I are the topic for discussion. I have received over one million calls, uncountable calls from people that I don’t even know; they are just begging me: Saying “Please don’t leave your husband. You know you 2 started together you have done a lot together”.
And I kept telling them I am still with my husband. I am very much with my husband. I don’t know what happened.
I am beginning to think some people are behind it. They have really gone far. But let me say we are used to it. That is what they have been writing about us since we started.
When did you start?
We started exactly 10 years ago in 2003. That was a year after my mum’s death. And since then they have been writing all sorts of things about us. They will say Mide Martins is not meant for Afeez Owo”.
Another one will say, Afeez Owo is not up to Mide’s standard. She is too beautiful for him. She is too fine for him. They have been saying so many stupid things.
(Laughs) Please help me tell them I love him like that, I am sure some people don’t understand why we are together or why we are married. For me that is what they call love. It is very difficult for people to accept that Mide and Afeez are still happily married 10 years after.
Some people have been battling with it since. They keep saying “No, it’s not possible! There are not meant together. They must break up. They can’t be together. They don’t belong together”.
So, we have been having that problem with people since. That is why they write all sorts of stories about us. But this time around, they have really gone far, too far.
So, I am using this medium to tell the whole world now that I am still very much with my husband. I am with him. You met my 2 kids before this interview. Why are people so bad. We step out together. We were at Sanyeri’s marriage together. That was the last one. We work together.
Can you tell us how you fell in love with Afeez?
Afeez is someone I grew up to know. Afeez was my mother’s manager. When my mum died, I would say he was the only one that stood by me. From there, we got closer and then we started dating. He was the only one I had then.
There was nobody else, I didn’t have a boyfriend and no one else came. He was the only one there for me. I love him. He loves me too. Since there was nobody else to marry and he was there for me, so I got married to him and thank God we are happy together.
What really attracted you to him?
That is a personal question. I don’t know why people see Afeez Owo as an ugly man. But everything is not about beauty alone. Every relationship shouldn’t be about beauty alone. There are some things that should be looked into apart from beauty; like a good heart. Afeez has a good heart and I love people with good heart.
Did he meet you a virgin?
No. I wasn’t a virgin. I broke up with my boyfriend before I met Afeez Owo. I wasn’t a virgin when we met. Our marriage was meant to be because if it wasn’t meant to be, it will definitely not happen. I don’t know how it all happened, how it all started all I know is that we started and we are doing fine.
Would you say your getting married to him has helped your career?
Of course, it has. He has been there for me a lot. He really stood by me and he has helped my career a lot.
If you search your mind, was there any rift between the 2 of you which may have led to the negative rumour?
Well, I don’t know what they saw. But my husband and I have never fought publicly normally, couples do fight, but my husband and I have never fought publicly.
Could it be because you and your husband don’t go to events together?
We do. We go to parties together. They see us together. We were at Femi Adebayo’s party but I went alone to FIBAN party, and we went together to Madam Saje’s party. All the stories they are cooking up are lies. They are lying.
Do you keep friends?
No. I don’t. I don’t keep friends within the industry and outside the industry. If I am not on location, I will be in my house with my kids. I am a very homely person. I don’t usually go out.
How did you get into acting?
I never had it in mind to act in my life. When my late mum used to go to the location to act I always wonder what she was looking for all over the place. But it was my mum’s death that made me go into acting.
When my mum died, I didn’t want the name to die like that. I want her to be remembered. I wanted people to see me and still see Funmi Martins me. I look like my mum. I am her carbon copy. I want her to live on. She did a lot for him.
Who was late Funmi Martins? When did she die?
It was in 2002, it was a sad event. I was very young then. I was in Ogun State University then.
I was in year one. I just got admission to study International Relations.
Her death was so shocking. My mum was my best friend despite the fact that I was very young then.
I would tell her anything including my little boyfriends then. She guided me on how to live my life, she lectured me.
She was Godfearing, she had a good heart, a very caring mother. She was an angel, my mum was very nice, she loved me to a fault.
Are you the only child?
No. I have 2 brothers. I am the only girl. She was my best friend. Since then, nobody has replaced her.
She was a full-time actress in the Yoruba and English sector. I didn’t have an interest in it before, It was her death that made me go into acting.
You hardly talk about your dad. How is he?
My dad is fine, my dad lives with me, he is a good man. His name is Mr. Segun Sobowale, he is an old man.
How come his name is different from your surname?
The Martins is my late mum’s stage name, I adopted her name. My dad was a government official. He is now retired.
What’s the new thing about Mide?
There is nothing new. Only the lies being peddled about me that my marriage has broken up when it has not.
Almost everybody has called me on this issue. I mean people that I don’t even have their numbers, people who don’t normally call me.
People I don’t really know. One woman called me from Sokoto and was crying, saying “don’t leave your husband”.
I feel bad about it really. I am a very simple person. I don’t wish anybody ill, so why would anybody wish me ill. I am easy going.
I don’t look for trouble. I don’t have the heart. If I am on location, if it’s not my role yet, I will sit in the car.
I don’t talk anyhow. I don’t gossip. I don’t have friends. If I am not working, I will sit in my car with the AC on. My colleagues usually make fun of me.
I stay away from controversy because people love to read bad news. They fuel bad news. That’s why I don’t know why people want my marriage to be broken.
I don’t know why. They’ve said a lot of bad things about my husband and me, I don’t care.
I am the one who knows why I married my husband I am the one who knows what I see in him. I love him. Whether I am finer than him or not I love him.
He will continue to remain my husband. And I will continue to be his wife. I just don’t know why people just want my marriage to be broken.
I think it is deliberate. They want us to be separated by all means.
Can you share with us what you see in him that other people don’t see?
He has a good heart. He is a nice person. I fell in love with his heart. He is a nice guy. I love him. So people should leave us alone and let us be.
Some people have wondered why Mide fell in love with a man who has tribal marks?
Tribal marks or no tribal marks, he is my husband, he remains my husband. What has that got to do with love?
What sort of a person is Afeez, your husband?
He is a good man. He is a nice man. He takes good care of me and the family. He loves his children. He is hardworking. He is a very simple man, simple and nice.
