“How I Adopted Jaiye Kuti, Susan Obwaya As My Mum”-Pretty Actress Reveals

The United States of America based Nollywood Actress, Tonia Okoro popularly known as Ferrari has exclusively revealed to us the real reasons she adopted cute and busty Yoruba Actress, Jaiye Kuti and an America based Kenya woman, Susan Obwaya as her mum. Though, before her biological mother, Mrs Grace Okoro died in January 24^th, 2016, Ferrari has been referring to the dashing actress, Jaiye as her mum.

The reason behind the love remained a top secret to her until today 10^th May 2020, which is a mother’s day and Ferrari decided to unleash the reason behind her love for Jaiye Kuti and Susan Obwaya. She made this revelation in a telephone chat she had with Nigerian based entertainment Journalist, Gbolahan Adetayo this morning.

According to her, “the first time I met aunty Jaiye, she was very nice to me. I was like wow, see my role model and her response was that I looked exactly like her and that was how we got along with each other, since then she has been acting like a mother to me even before my mum died. Now, we are very cool with ourselves, she is always there for me and I thank God that I have her in my life. About Aunty Susan, I met her almost immediately after I got to America, she was having a kind of indoor get together in her house. I met her through her niece called Peace who is a friend. The first day I saw her, I fell in love with her and today, everything is history as they say. She has also been there for me. She is like my mother right now. I thank God that I have these two women in my life. For a certain period when I got to America, I had some issues and this woman stood for me, encouraging me when I am down morally. At a point, I was about to give up and she was like no Ferrari, if you can make a name for yourself in Nigeria, you can do better here in America. If I need anything, she is ready to supply it even till now; she is more than a pillar behind me. I just thank God for Aunty Susan and Aunty Jaiye Kuti.I will say that my mum’s spirit just brought these two people into my life to guard me. Sometimes, you will just feel that you are not at the place you are supposed to be and you feel sad about it, these two women will hastily come in to rescue me. I and aunty Jaiye do talk on video calls virtually every day to encourage and pray for me.I will forever be grateful to God for having them in my life. The most important women in my life, I will firstly say my mum even though she is no more alive. Then Akura my kid sister, she is so important to me as well and of course my two adopted mummies, they are too precious to me”, she claimed.
